  I think I gave this place four stars, just because it is local and I have to represent the community. Overall, I think my personal experience with it is more a 3-star variety, as in the food here has typically been nothing special for me, but In fairness, that may be because I have an alternative diet (no grains, no dairy) and that limits my choices. I had to mix and match to get something I wanted. I am pretty sure that I would have appreciated an inventive salad option, but that is not why most people go to Mountain View in the first place. Their breakfast and diner food is definitely 4-star: graciously-sized, rich portions, not exceptionally greasy comfort food. I was not disappointed by their multiple types of Benedict or their cheeseburger. I don't particularly favor their fruit pies, but their cream pies (banana, coconut, chocolate) are mouthwatering.
